The secure connector that links your Trezor device to applications.
Trezor Bridge is a lightweight communication layer that allows your Trezor hardware wallet to interact with desktop wallets, web interfaces, and software tools reliably. Unlike browser-based USB access, Bridge maintains a secure, local-only communication channel that prevents websites from directly interfacing with your device. This ensures that all sensitive operations remain isolated and safe.
When you install Trezor Bridge, it runs quietly in the background and handles device detection, message routing, and permission management. It improves compatibility across browsers and platforms, making your Trezor easier to use with multiple interfaces.
Download the .exe installer, open it, and follow the prompts. Grant USB access when required. After installation, the Bridge service runs automatically.
Open the .dmg or .pkg file, drag the Bridge app into Applications, and approve permissions in System Settings → Security if prompted.
Use .deb or .rpm packages or universal builds. Ensure udev rules are configured so your system recognizes your Trezor without root access.
If your Trezor isn’t detected, restart Bridge or your computer, try another USB cable, or reinstall the latest version. Browser conflicts or security software may also block access.
